Make your laptop truly mobile!

Computer access is essential in the daily transaction of business. The sales of laptop computers are at an all time high. Equally important to mobility is the need to connect to the internet. Access to email, MLS, contact data, and websites are key to running a successful business.

Until recently, choices in obtaining mobile data on your laptop have been limited in price and performance. WiFi has been the most popular but often requires a monthly subscription to a “hotspot” and only works within a few hundred feet from their location such as “Starbucks.”

Data cards for laptops have lacked performance and been costly with data speeds of 40-120 kbs, not much faster than a dial up. Broadband cards have been in the marketplace only about one year but have been providing substantial advantages with data speeds of 300-900 kbs similar to DSL or broadband speeds.
